General Requirements

  • Four (4) year baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) recognized from an accredited or recognized university
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (73-76%) or B in the final 60 credits of study
  • Applicants who do not meet standard academic criteria may be considered for admission based on GMAT scores and/or professional experience, as outlined on a CV
  • Prior work-related experience of 2 years is recommended but not required.

Lead with AI Powered Marketing Skills

As technology reshapes how consumers behave, how organizations compete, and how markets evolve, the demand for skilled digital marketers who can think strategically, analyze data, and use AI responsibly has never been stronger. The Master of Digital Marketing (MDM) at Cape Breton University equips students to lead and innovate in today鈥檚 data鈥慸riven, AI鈥慹nabled marketplace. In just 16-months, students will build the strategic mindset and technical skill set employers demand, blending marketing strategy, analytics, consumer behaviour, and the responsible use of AI and automation.

Through immersive labs, case studies, and culminating in a Master鈥檚 project, students will apply classroom learning with the same tools trusted by industry to solve real鈥憌orld challenges. Offered in-person with full鈥憈ime and part鈥憈ime options, the MDM program welcomes recent graduates, working professionals, and career changers ready to accelerate their growth in a global field.

Program Delivery & Structure

The MDM program is offered in-person on CBU’s campus with both full-time (16-months) and part-time study options available. In the final study semester, students will complete a Master’s project in collaboration with external partner organizations, ensuring practical, real-world application of digital marketing principles.
