No. Only undergraduate university courses are applicable towards entrance requirements. This can include college level courses that were transferred into your university program.
You must reside within Canada for the full duration of the program.
The B.Ed. program is a full time program that is offered both online and in person on campus.
There is no part-time option.
All transfer requests are considered by the admissions team and made on a case by case basis.
This is a demanding program which will require a significant investment of time and energy. In addition, you will be required to be in schools for 1 day per week throughout the entire program. You will also be required to complete two full time practicum placements (about 6 weeks each) in schools. This would make full time employment impractical and untenable.
The B.Ed. is 12 months long, whether taken online or on campus.
We have a single intake for both B.Ed. programs in May each year. There is no September (Fall) intake for the B.Ed. program.
Please review the Canadian Deadlines page for the most up to date application open and close information.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early as we operate on a rolling admissions model. Applications will be considered as they are received until all seats for the B.Ed. program have been taken.
