Capers Men鈥檚 Basketball Standouts Stefan Anisko and Tayshaun Thomas Selected in 2026 CEBL Signing Day

Following a standout third season with the Capers, where after returning from a pre-season injury, Anisko solidified his reputation as one of the country鈥檚 premier shooting guards, recording seven 20-point games and a 40-point performance in the regular-season home finale.
Stef鈥檚 performance this past season earned him the CBU men鈥檚 basketball MVP and an Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Conference First-Team All-Star. Recognition for skills he aims to hone further when he heads to Edmonton.

Tayshaun Thomas 鈥� Montr茅al Alliance
Rookie guard Tayshaun Thomas will head back to his hometown after being selected by the Montr茅al Alliance. The 6鈥�4鈥� Montreal native made an immediate impact in his first year at CBU, averaging 9 points and 5 rebounds per game while ranking as one of the top defensive players in the conference for steals.
Thomas concludes his debut season as the Capers Men鈥檚 Basketball Rookie of the Year and a member of the AUS All-Rookie Team.
“I鈥檓 just grateful for the opportunity to play for the Montreal Alliance. Being from Montreal, it really means a lot,” said Tayshaun Thomas.
