Thesis/Major Project SnapShot
Cape Breton University鈥檚 Thesis/Major Project SnapShot event is a platform for CBU students to present key aspects of their research to a live audience. This event is open to students in their final year of study at CBU and is similar to the (3MT) event organized by the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS). This is part of CBU’s annual Research Month, held in March.
Contribute meaningfully to scholarship and knowledge mobilization
Each participant delivers a presentation which must be engaging and accessible to a non-specialist audience. The most engaging and successful presentations discuss a key idea or finding relating to the student鈥檚 research.
Rules:
- 3-minute presentation
- Only one static slide can be used
- Presentations must be engaging and accessible to a non-specialist audience
- Aim to present one key idea or finding relating to your research
- 聽Video recordings of the presentations may be uploaded to the CBU website
